Assessment helps identify what is contributing to pain and stiffness, then treatment is matched to your symptoms, goals and day-to-day demands.
Sessions can combine hands-on treatment, loading advice and progressive rehabilitation so you know what to do between appointments.
Physiotherapy can support strength, confidence, walking, transfers and balance after neurological illness, injury, frailty or reduced mobility.
If attending clinic is difficult, Robin can visit at home for physiotherapy, massage or acupuncture across Shipley, Bradford and nearby areas.
Armoured Physiotherapy is based at Ground Floor, 3 Manor Lane, Shipley, with clinic appointments, home visits and online options available depending on what you need.
The clinic is in central Shipley, close to local parking and public transport, with a dedicated rehabilitation space for assessment, treatment and exercise progression.
Home physiotherapy is useful when travelling is difficult, mobility is reduced, or stairs, transfers, walking aids and the home setup need to be assessed directly.
Home visits are commonly arranged across Shipley, Bradford, Bingley, Baildon, Esholt, Wilsden, Thornton and nearby areas, subject to travel time and appointment availability.
If you are unsure whether clinic, home visit or online physiotherapy is the right fit, send a short enquiry and Robin can help you choose the safest option.
Physiotherapy in Shipley, Bradford for pain, injury, mobility and recovery
Start with an assessment, then agree a plan for your symptoms, goals and day-to-day needs. Common reasons people book are shown below.
Assessment can explore movement, strength, sensitivity, work demands, sport and daily activities before building a plan around treatment, advice and progressive exercise.
Physiotherapy can help with painful or stiff joints, tendon irritation, arthritis-related symptoms, strength loss and confidence returning to normal activity.
Sessions can include injury assessment, load management, hands-on treatment, progressive rehab and guidance on when to return to training or competition.
Post-op rehab can support movement, strength, confidence and function after surgery, working around consultant instructions and your stage of recovery.
Rehabilitation may focus on walking, transfers, balance, strength, fatigue management and confidence after neurological illness or injury.
For older adults or people feeling less steady, physiotherapy can support safer movement, strength, falls prevention and practical day-to-day confidence.
Evidence in practice
Guidelines support active, individualised rehabilitation. The exact starting point, pace and treatment mix still depend on assessment, your goals and any medical or surgical instructions.
Read short Google review excerpts from patients who mention similar problems, treatment types or rehab goals.
Clinic is usually best if you can travel safely and want access to the rehabilitation space.
Home visits are useful when travel is difficult or the home setup needs to be assessed directly.
Telehealth can work for advice, exercise progression or a remote check-in.
Robin will ask about symptoms, goals, relevant medical history, work, sport, home demands and what matters most to you.
Assessment may look at movement, strength, balance, pain response, walking, transfers or task-specific activities depending on why you booked.
Treatment can include manual therapy, massage, acupuncture where suitable, rehabilitation exercises, education and advice for self-management.
Follow-up sessions can adjust exercises, increase challenge, review symptoms and keep the plan aligned with your recovery or performance goals.
In-clinic appointments are usually the simplest option if you can travel safely and want access to the rehabilitation space, treatment couch and exercise equipment.
Home visits can be arranged in nearby areas where travel time allows, especially when mobility, balance, confidence or the home environment are part of the problem.
Bring any consultant instructions, operation notes or exercise sheets if you have them. Rehab can then be paced around your restrictions and recovery milestones.
Physiotherapy is not an emergency service. If symptoms are severe, rapidly worsening or medically worrying, seek urgent NHS or emergency care first.
The clinic is based in Shipley, with home physiotherapy considered across Bradford and nearby areas including Bingley, Baildon, Esholt, Wilsden and Thornton when travel time and appointment availability allow.
If travelling is difficult, a home visit can also help assess stairs, walking aids, transfers and day-to-day mobility in the place where those problems actually happen.
Private neurological rehabilitation
One-to-one physiotherapy for adults living with stroke, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis or other neurological changes affecting movement, balance or confidence.
Individual rehabilitation
Assessment looks at what has changed, what still works well and which everyday activities matter most.
Care can complement NHS, consultant and specialist services where appropriate; it is not a replacement for neurological or medical care.
Who may benefit
Suitability is checked individually. The starting point and pace depend on the diagnosis, stage, symptoms, medical guidance and personal goals.
Rehabilitation may focus on movement, strength, walking, balance, transfers and confidence after discharge or alongside an existing care plan.
Sessions can consider balance, movement strategies, strength, mobility and day-to-day activities when motor function is affected.
Physiotherapy may address mobility, strength, balance, fatigue-aware activity and meaningful goals, with challenge adjusted to the individual.
People also enquire about walking, balance, reduced confidence or mobility changes linked to another neurological illness or injury. Contact the clinic if you are unsure whether the service fits.
Practical goals
Goals are agreed after assessment and may change as confidence, function or circumstances change.
Stroke rehabilitation
Private physiotherapy may provide additional practice or longer-term support after NHS discharge, or sit alongside an NHS plan where everyone involved understands the goals and any restrictions.
Recovery is different for every person. No specific outcome or timescale can be guaranteed, and new or changing symptoms need appropriate medical review.
Choose the setting
The dedicated rehabilitation space may suit people who can travel safely and want access to exercise equipment in a focused setting.
Check clinic availabilityA home visit can be useful when travel is difficult or when walking, transfers, stairs, furniture and daily routines need to be considered directly.
Learn about home visitsWith the patient's agreement, a family member or carer can join discussions and learn how to support an agreed plan between appointments.
Ask about your situationEvidence in practice
NICE guidance supports needs-based rehabilitation after stroke, Parkinson's-specific physiotherapy when balance or motor function is affected, and individual goal assessment with appropriately supervised exercise for mobility problems or fatigue in multiple sclerosis.
Guidance informs the service, but it does not replace individual assessment or advice from the wider neurological and medical team.
Frequently asked questions
No referral is normally needed for a private appointment. Bring or mention relevant discharge information, consultant guidance, medication changes or existing exercise plans where available.
It can sometimes provide additional practice or support alongside NHS services. The plan should remain consistent with medical guidance and any goals or restrictions already agreed by the wider team.
Yes, if the patient wants them involved. They can help explain day-to-day priorities, hear the agreed plan and understand how to support practice safely.
Home visits may be available across Shipley, Bradford, Bingley, Baildon and nearby areas, subject to travel time and availability. They can be useful when travel is difficult or the home setup is part of the problem.
People may have rehabilitation goals at different stages after stroke. An assessment can establish what is currently appropriate, but no particular improvement or timescale can be promised.
Next step
Send a short enquiry about the diagnosis, current mobility and what you would like help with. Robin can advise which appointment route is most appropriate.
One-to-one physiotherapy at home across Shipley, Bingley, Bradford and nearby areas
Home visits make physiotherapy practical when travelling is difficult or the home setup is part of the problem.
Appointments can help with mobility, balance, walking, transfers, post-op rehab, neurological conditions and confidence with everyday activity.
Suitability is considered individually. These are common reasons people ask for physiotherapy at home rather than travelling to the clinic.
Assessment can focus on walking, transfers, strength, balance and the practical activities you need to manage safely from day to day.
Being assessed at home allows stairs, furniture, walking aids and everyday movement routes to be considered in the place where they are actually used.
Home-based rehabilitation can support movement, strength and confidence after surgery, while following any consultant instructions or restrictions you have been given.
Sessions may work on walking, transfers, balance, fatigue, strength and meaningful household tasks after neurological illness or injury.
Discuss the problem and your goals. Robin will ask about symptoms, relevant medical history, daily activities and what you want to improve.
Assess movement and function. This may include walking, balance, transfers, stairs, strength or another activity that is important to you.
Agree a practical treatment plan. Treatment may include advice, hands-on treatment, rehabilitation exercises and ways to make everyday movement more manageable.
Initial appointments are normally up to one hour, giving enough time for assessment and a clear plan without rushing the visit.
See the conditions and rehabilitation needs physiotherapy can support.
Home physiotherapy is commonly arranged in Shipley, Bradford, Bingley, Baildon, Esholt, Wilsden, Thornton and nearby areas. Coverage depends on travel time and appointment availability, and a travel fee may apply.
The Shipley clinic is usually best when you can travel safely and want access to the full rehabilitation space. A home visit may be more useful when travel is difficult or the home setup itself needs to be considered.
Armoured Physiotherapy is not an emergency service. Severe, rapidly worsening or medically worrying symptoms should be directed to appropriate NHS or emergency care.

Reviews can be reassuring, but the right treatment still depends on your symptoms, goals, medical history and whether clinic, home visit or online support is the best fit.
Massage sessions are tailored to the pressure, pace and areas you want to focus on, from relaxation to training-related tightness.
If injury, weakness, altered sensation, balance or surgery is part of the picture, start with a physiotherapy assessment.
Choose a focused or relaxing session, with pressure and pace adjusted to you. Options include:
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) uses handheld tools during soft-tissue treatment. It can be used as an optional adjunct where assessment suggests it may help with pain, movement or a specific area of restriction.
If you can't make it to the clinic, we're happy to come to you. You'll receive the same luxurious experience as in clinic. We frequently travel to Bingley, Baildon, Esholt, Wilsden, Thornton and beyond.
Useful for training-related tightness, recovery support, heavy workloads or areas that repeatedly feel restricted during sport or exercise.
Sessions can focus on specific areas such as the back, neck, shoulders, hips or legs, with pressure adapted to your preference.
Massage can also be slower and more general, aimed at easing tension and helping you feel calmer without needing a specific injury.
Acupuncture can be used within physiotherapy care for selected pain and headache presentations, alongside assessment, advice and exercise where appropriate.
Acupuncture is a recognised option for selected pain and headache presentations. Suitability is checked against your symptoms, medical history, preferences and the evidence relevant to the problem being assessed.
Where acupuncture fits the wider plan, Robin will explain the expected role, alternatives and any uncertainties. Consent is confirmed before any needling.
Robin will ask about your symptoms, medical history, medication and preferences before deciding whether acupuncture is appropriate.
Acupuncture is not treated as a one-size-fits-all option; it sits alongside assessment, advice, exercise and other physiotherapy treatments.
Needling is only used with your consent. If acupuncture is not right for you, other treatment options can be discussed instead.

Private healthcare funding
Insurance-funded physiotherapy bookings are welcome. Check your cover, paperwork and payment route before treatment.
Before you book
This avoids delays, unexpected costs and uncertainty about whether your appointment can be claimed.
Check that physiotherapy with your chosen clinic and practitioner is covered, including any policy restrictions or provider requirements.
Ask whether you need a GP or consultant referral, an authorisation or claim number, and whether there is a limit on sessions.
Check any excess, contribution, treatment limit or shortfall you may need to pay yourself.
Payment and paperwork
Some policies reimburse the patient after treatment, while others use a different arrangement. Contact the clinic before paying online so the correct route can be confirmed for your booking.
If your insurer has told you to pay first and claim back, you can book a physiotherapy assessment online and request an itemised receipt after payment.
Itemised invoices and receipts can be provided where needed. Armoured Physiotherapy cannot guarantee that an insurer will authorise or reimburse treatment.
Your care
Assessment and treatment remain based on your clinical needs, goals and consent. An insurer may set limits or request reports, but those administrative requirements do not determine what is clinically appropriate.
Information is shared with an insurer only where there is consent or another appropriate legal basis.

What to bring, where to go and what happens during your first clinic appointment.
Before you set off
You do not need a GP referral. A few practical things can help Robin make the most of your appointment.
Loose, comfortable clothing makes it easier to assess movement and the area you want help with.
If you have relevant clinic letters, scan reports, operation notes or exercise guidance, bring them with you. It is fine if you do not.
If an intake form was included with your confirmation, completing it beforehand leaves more appointment time for assessment and treatment.
Your appointment
Appointments are deliberately one hour so there is time to understand the problem properly and agree a useful next step.
Robin will ask about your symptoms, goals, medical history and what you need to get back to.
The assessment is adapted to why you booked and may include movement, strength, balance or task-specific activities.
You will discuss what the findings mean, suitable options and the priorities for treatment or rehabilitation.
Where clinically appropriate, the appointment can include treatment, exercise guidance or practical advice rather than assessment alone.
Finding the clinic
Aim to arrive on time. If you are delayed or cannot find the clinic, call 01274 028960.
Need a different setup?
You are welcome to bring someone with you. If the entrance steps, travelling to the clinic or anything else could make the visit difficult, contact us so the most suitable option can be discussed. A home visit may be more appropriate when mobility or access is a concern.

Hi, and thanks so much for visiting the website!
I'm Robin Armour, the founder and owner of Armoured Physiotherapy. I've always had a passion for working with clients, starting out as a fitness instructor then personal trainer, before deciding that a physiotherapy degree was the logical next step.
I studied at the University of Bradford, where I obtained my BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy. While studying, I also qualified in massage, working privately alongside my degree.
Since qualifying, I've worked privately in massage, neurological rehabilitation, and most recently as a clinical educator at Neoniq Training Solutions in Shipley. I've also since undertaken my acupuncture qualification.
I look forward to seeing you at the clinic.
Best,
Robin

This website is owned and operated by Armoured Physiotherapy.
By booking, attending, paying for, or receiving services from Armoured Physiotherapy, you enter into a legally binding agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions.
You must be at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to agree to treatment. Services will not be provided where prohibited by law.
Services are delivered by a fully qualified, insured, and experienced chartered physiotherapist.
Sessions may take place in the clinic or, where booked, in your home or another agreed location. If treatment occurs in your home or garden, you are responsible for ensuring the environment is safe and suitable.
All services begin with an initial assessment, including medical history, assessment of your condition, and agreement of treatment goals. You will be involved in all decisions regarding your treatment.
Appointments are scheduled as sessions of up to 60 minutes, depending on clinical need and session content.
If treatment is not clinically appropriate, this will be explained and alternative options suggested. The assessment fee remains payable.
Consent will always be confirmed before treatment begins. Some techniques may require partial removal of clothing; your dignity will always be respected.
For some treatments, including massage or acupuncture, consent forms may be provided in advance or available on the website to support efficient use of session time. Verbal consent will still be confirmed at the appointment.
A personalised home exercise programme may be provided. Adherence supports progress.
Treatment is evidence-informed, but no specific outcomes can be guaranteed.
Therapy assistants may support care under supervision.
Requests to change the service or treatment type associated with a booking are subject to availability, clinical appropriateness, and the discretion of Armoured Physiotherapy.

Appointments may be booked online, via email, phone, WhatsApp, or in person.
A booking is only confirmed once the required deposit has been received.
Where an appointment is provisionally reserved pending payment, it remains subject to availability until the required deposit is received. Where a payment deadline is provided, an unpaid provisional booking may be released if payment is not received within that timeframe.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure all bookings.
The deposit is deducted from the cost of the session and forms part of the booking agreement. It contributes towards the administrative and clinical resources involved in processing and reserving the booking.
A deposit may normally be transferred on a maximum of two occasions. Further rearrangements may require a new deposit at the discretion of Armoured Physiotherapy.
Failure to attend without notice will result in the deposit being retained.
If the appointment is part of a prepaid bundle, one session will be deducted.
If you arrive late, the session will still finish at the scheduled time and the full fee will apply.
Appointments are booked as time slots rather than billed by the minute. Minor delays on the clinician’s part may occasionally occur; the session remains chargeable as booked.
If Armoured Physiotherapy needs to cancel an appointment for any reason, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
No charges will apply for appointments cancelled by the provider.
Bundles:
Unused sessions retain their value as treatment sessions but are not exchangeable for cash except where expressly provided for within these Terms.
This section operates in addition to the standard 48-hour cancellation policy.
If a patient is acutely unwell, experiencing significant physical or mental health difficulties, or where attendance would be unsafe or unreasonable, Armoured Physiotherapy may apply discretion to late cancellations or rearrangements.
In such circumstances, deposits may be transferred rather than lost. This does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund or rearrangement.
Where adverse weather conditions, including snow, ice, flooding, or severe storms, make travel unsafe or unreasonably risky, appointments may be rearranged at the discretion of Armoured Physiotherapy.
Where possible, reasonable notice should still be provided.
This does not create an automatic entitlement to reschedule or retain a deposit.
In the event of a patient’s death, Armoured Physiotherapy will handle any remaining prepaid sessions with sensitivity.
Where appropriate, unused sessions may be transferred to a nominated family member or refunded to the original payer at the discretion of Armoured Physiotherapy.
No administrative fees will be applied in these circumstances.
This clause operates as a limited exception to Section 7 (non-refundable bundles).
Where a patient books and pays for regular, ongoing appointments scheduled in advance, for example multiple sessions per week over a period of time, those appointments are considered reserved clinical capacity once entered into the diary.
Reserved capacity limits the availability of appointments for other patients and requires advance planning and commitment, regardless of how far in advance sessions are scheduled.
Where a patient holds reserved capacity, the capacity window overrides the standard 48-hour cancellation policy for sessions falling within that window.
For patients booking one or two sessions per week, the standard 48-hour cancellation policy applies.
For the purposes of reserved capacity, a high-volume block is defined as three or more sessions per week booked on an ongoing basis.
Where a long-term block is cancelled, paused, or ended early, any sessions scheduled within the next 21 days from the date of notice will remain chargeable, as this time has already been reserved and has restricted availability for other patients.
For prepaid bundles, chargeable sessions will be deducted from the remaining bundle balance.
Where a patient has a high-volume block and wishes to cancel, pause, or change three or more reserved sessions within a 7-day period, at least 7 days’ notice is required where reasonably possible.
Providing 7 days’ notice allows scheduling changes but does not remove the chargeable status of sessions already within the capacity window.
Sessions cancelled with less than the notice above will normally be treated as used unless exceptional circumstances apply.
Where a long-term block is ended early:
In cases of acute illness, safeguarding concerns, hospitalisation, adverse weather, or bereavement, discretion may be applied.
Discretion is applied consistently and proportionately, based on the circumstances presented, and does not create a precedent or entitlement.
Fees are clearly displayed online and confirmed at booking.
Payment is due at the end of each session or upfront for bundles unless otherwise agreed.
If sessions are funded by an insurer or third party, you remain responsible for any shortfall.
Invoices must be settled within 7 days. Persistent non-payment may result in suspension of services and/or recovery action.
The therapist–patient relationship is strictly professional.
Communication must relate only to treatment or scheduling.
Inappropriate behaviour or boundary violations may result in immediate termination of services.
Treatment may be paused or stopped if:
Any treatment time already provided remains chargeable.

Changes to patient records and bookings may be logged with the field changed, previous value, new value, staff member or system source, and time of change. This helps correct mistakes, maintain clinical record integrity, and provide accountability where more than one person can update records.
Hannah is an AI-assisted receptionist for routine booking and clinic administration. Hannah-assisted calls, messages, voicemail, and web-chat workflows may create transcripts, summaries, action notes, booking drafts, or communication records. Voicemail audio is recorded only when you choose to leave a voicemail. Optional full-call audio recording is disabled by default and, if enabled, starts only after a recording-purpose notice is played. Audio may be used for follow-up, quality review, safety, and evidence of the reception action you requested. These records are used to help manage patient communication, follow-up, call review, data-access requests, and clinic administration. Hannah is not a clinician, emergency service, or substitute for Robin's clinical judgement. Human review is used where a matter needs clinical judgement, unusual handling, complaint handling, payment review, or Robin's decision.
When an authorised staff member deliberately starts an outgoing recorded call from the authenticated Hannah/Calls screen, the clinic records and transcribes only the staff side. This includes a message the staff member leaves if the call reaches voicemail, but not the patient's speech or voicemail greeting. Audio is copied to private call-recording storage, linked to the selected patient's call record, with protected playback and deletion controls. A native phone (tel:) link or a call placed directly in the phone app is not captured.
To understand a short follow-up such as “yes please”, Hannah may consult a limited structured summary of the latest qualifying reception exchange across SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, and DMARC-aligned inbound email from a uniquely mapped trusted/verified address. The summary contains only the reception topic, stated service or time preference, and action offered—not a copied message transcript, contact details, clinical notes, or payment details. It is used only when the current and historical contact points each independently resolve to the same single patient record through trusted or verified contact points. A shared, ambiguous, unverified, differently owned, failed, unresolved, manual, transactional, malformed, or unknown communication—or inbound email that is not DMARC-aligned or not uniquely mapped to a trusted/verified address—stops continuity; Hannah does not reach behind that boundary to reuse an older exchange. Gmail replies remain staff-reviewed.
Hannah may consult this summary for no more than 24 hours or 20 turns from the start of the qualifying exchange. The summary remains personal data. Where its underlying communication record must be retained with the patient record, this limit ends reuse by Hannah; it does not mean that the audit record is deleted after 24 hours.
Hannah should not ask you for payment card details or bank details; card payments are handled by Square. You can ask for human help at any point. If you need urgent medical help, do not wait for Hannah. Use NHS 111, 999, or another appropriate urgent-care route.
Hannah does not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. It may automate routine reception steps, but uncertain identity, clinical judgement, complaints, unusual payment issues, and other restricted matters are withheld for human review. You may ask for a person to review or take over an interaction.
Hannah does not keep your name, email address, phone number, booking reference, or manage-booking credential in browser Web Storage (localStorage or sessionStorage) to recognise you later. A booking-management link hands an opaque credential to a Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict cookie scoped to booking-management APIs, then removes the credential from the address bar. It expires at the earlier of the appointment start or 30 days after issue. Returning-patient details require fresh secure verification rather than a saved device hint.
Information may be processed by trusted providers used to run the clinic, such as booking, hosting, database, payment, accounting, email, phone, messaging, analytics, AI receptionist, transcription, and clinical administration systems. Current provider categories include Cloudflare for website and worker hosting, Supabase for database/storage, Twilio for phone/SMS/RCS/WhatsApp/voicemail, Anthropic or OpenAI where AI or transcription features are configured, ElevenLabs for AI voice output, Square for payments, email providers for transactional email, Daily for telehealth, Google services for distance checks or measurement where configured, and Meta for consented advertising measurement. Information may also be shared where required by law, professional duties, insurers, regulators, emergency services, or with your consent.
Where providers process information outside the UK, an applicable UK adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful safeguard is required. The clinic must retain and review the relevant provider terms and transfer evidence, and you may contact the clinic to ask about the safeguard used for a particular provider.
If you choose SMS/RCS reminders or start a text conversation with the clinic, we process the mobile number, message content, timestamps, consent or opt-out state, delivery information, and the channel used. We use this information to answer the enquiry, administer the booking, send the reminders you requested, keep an accurate communication history, and investigate delivery or safety issues.
Twilio, participating mobile networks, and their technical providers receive the information needed to transmit and protect SMS or RCS messages. Armoured Physiotherapy does not sell mobile information or share phone numbers, messaging opt-in records, or messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing. Service providers may use this information only to deliver, secure, and support the clinic's communications under their contracts and applicable law.
Messages may be delivered as RCS where supported; otherwise SMS. Optional recurring reminders are normally sent one week and one day before an appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You may also change your preference by contacting info@armouredphysiotherapy.co.uk or 01274 028960. Opting out of text messages does not affect your right to book or receive treatment.
Do not send payment-card details or unnecessary medical information by SMS or RCS. Text messaging is not monitored as an emergency service; use NHS 111, 999, or another appropriate urgent-care route when needed.
If you start a WhatsApp conversation with the clinic, or separately choose an eligible WhatsApp service notification, the clinic processes your WhatsApp number, message content, timestamps, delivery information, consent or opt-out state, and the related booking or enquiry context. Twilio, Meta/WhatsApp, mobile networks, and their technical providers receive the information needed to deliver, secure, and support the conversation.
Within WhatsApp's customer-service window, Hannah or staff may send a relevant free-form reply to your message. Outside that window, an outbound message must use an approved template and will be sent only for the documented service purpose and where the clinic has an appropriate lawful basis and messaging permission. WhatsApp is not used for promotional messages unless you have separately asked for them. You may ask the clinic to stop WhatsApp messages at any time without affecting your treatment.
Do not send payment-card details or unnecessary medical information through WhatsApp. WhatsApp is not monitored as an emergency service; use NHS 111, 999, or another appropriate urgent-care route when needed.
Clinical records, consent forms, appointment records, patient-linked communications, Hannah call transcripts, and related audit logs are normally kept for 8 years after the last relevant entry unless a longer period is legally required or needed to handle a dispute, safeguarding issue, insurance matter, tax/accounting duty, or regulatory issue. Enquiries that do not become patients are kept only as long as needed for administration and follow-up.
Unlinked or anonymous Hannah call transcripts are manually reviewed after 90 days. All Hannah call transcripts are reviewed at least annually for data minimisation. Reviewed voicemail, Hannah full-call, and clinician-side outbound call audio recordings are reviewed after 90 days and deleted when the transcript or action record is sufficient, unless a documented clinical, safeguarding, complaint, insurance, legal, or dispute purpose requires the audio for longer. Stale unpaid payment links are also surfaced for manual review. Deletion is manual so that clinically, legally, or financially important records are not removed accidentally.
You can ask to access, correct, restrict, erase, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Some rights may be limited where clinical, legal, tax, insurance, safeguarding, or regulatory retention duties apply. Contact info@armouredphysiotherapy.co.uk or 01274 028960 to exercise a right; the clinic may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing a record.
If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, contact the clinic first so it can investigate. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Essential storage supports website security, booking continuity, and your privacy preference. A selected appointment return path containing only the service, date, time, and staff choice—without your name, contact details, patient identifier, or booking reference—may be kept on your device for up to 30 minutes so a secure patient-portal sign-in can return you to booking. A booking-management credential is exchanged from a server-invisible link fragment into a Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict cookie scoped to booking-management APIs, is removed from the address bar after exchange, and expires at the earlier of the appointment start or 30 days after issue. The first-party privacy-choice record is kept for up to 12 months so the site can remember your selection. Hannah does not persist patient identifiers, booking references, or manage-booking credentials in browser Web Storage (localStorage or sessionStorage). Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement, and the Meta Pixel are optional and denied by default; their external scripts are not loaded before the relevant choice. You may allow analytics without allowing advertising. When analytics is allowed, a first-party purchase-deduplication record containing booking transaction references may be kept on your device for up to 30 days solely to prevent duplicate measurement; it is removed if analytics consent is withdrawn. Advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters are stored only when advertising measurement has been allowed. With advertising measurement allowed, Meta receives only the generic Lead, InitiateCheckout, Schedule, or Purchase event, plus a non-negative value and GBP currency where applicable. The clinic does not send Meta a patient name, contact details, booking reference, appointment type, selected time, symptoms, clinical information, or form contents through this integration; automatic page and form-field collection is disabled. Meta may set or read advertising cookies and process device, browser, network, and event-delivery information under its own terms. You can review, withdraw, or change measurement choices at any time using Cookie settings in the website footer; withdrawing advertising consent also removes the site's first-party Meta advertising cookies where the browser permits it.
This notice may be updated as systems, providers, or clinic workflows change. The version published on this website is the current patient-facing notice.

Armoured Physiotherapy wants its website and online patient services to be usable by as many people as possible. We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
The website, online booking, secure payment page, patient portal, intake form, booking-management page and Hannah chat are designed to support keyboard navigation, visible focus, browser zoom and screen-reader announcements for important changes.
This is an ongoing accessibility programme, not a claim that every part of the service currently conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA.
If you cannot access information or complete a task, use the contact form and include “website accessibility” in your message, call 01274 028960, or email info@armouredphysiotherapy.co.uk. Please tell us which page or step caused difficulty and what device, browser or assistive technology you were using. Do not include unnecessary medical information.
